Article 2 Submission of the notification
Summary What does Article 2 of the ITS on notification of crypto-asset service provision say?
This article builds directly on Article 1, which establishes the obligation for competent authorities to designate a contact point for receiving notifications.
Article 2 now turns to the notifying entity, setting out the practical requirements for how those notifications must actually be submitted.
It specifies both the format to be used and the technical standard the submission must meet.
Important points:
- Submit your notification using the form provided in the Annex of this Regulation.
- Ensure the submission method allows the information to be stored, accessed for future reference, and reproduced without alteration.
- Both obligations in this article fall on the notifying entity.
