This article sets out the immediate obligations of competent authorities upon receiving an application for approval of a crypto-asset white paper.
It directly follows from Article 1, which governs how credit institutions submit their applications, and establishes the first formal step in the competent authority's response process: confirming receipt and providing the applicant with basic administrative details to facilitate ongoing communication.

The competent authority shall acknowledge receipt of the application for approval of a crypto-asset white paper within 2 working days following the receipt of the application.
The acknowledgement referred to in paragraph 1 shall include the following information:

the contact point within the competent authority to which queries regarding the application may be addressed.
