ENRecital 39 Support from the European Commission
In order to achieve the objectives of this Directive and without prejudice to the legal responsibility of Member States and critical entities means a public or private entity which has been identified by a Member State in accordance with Article 6 as belonging to one of the categories set out in the third column of the table in the Annex; to ensure compliance with their respective obligations laid down therein, the Commission should, where it considers it appropriate, support competent authorities and critical entities means a public or private entity which has been identified by a Member State in accordance with Article 6 as belonging to one of the categories set out in the third column of the table in the Annex; with the aim of facilitating their compliance with their respective obligations.
