Article 23 Identification of economic operators


    1. Economic operators means the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer, the distributor, or other natural or legal person who is subject to obligations in relation to the manufacture of products with digital elements or to the making available of products with digital elements on the market in accordance with this Regulation; shall, on request, provide the market surveillance authorities means a market surveillance authority as defined in Article 3, point (4), of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020; with the following information:

      1. the name and address of any economic operator means the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer, the distributor, or other natural or legal person who is subject to obligations in relation to the manufacture of products with digital elements or to the making available of products with digital elements on the market in accordance with this Regulation; who has supplied them with a product with digital elements means a software or hardware product and its remote data processing solutions, including software or hardware components being placed on the market separately;;

      2. where available, the name and address of any economic operator means the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer, the distributor, or other natural or legal person who is subject to obligations in relation to the manufacture of products with digital elements or to the making available of products with digital elements on the market in accordance with this Regulation; to whom they have supplied a product with digital elements means a software or hardware product and its remote data processing solutions, including software or hardware components being placed on the market separately;.

    1. Economic operators means the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer, the distributor, or other natural or legal person who is subject to obligations in relation to the manufacture of products with digital elements or to the making available of products with digital elements on the market in accordance with this Regulation; shall be able to present the information referred to in paragraph 1 for 10 years after they have been supplied with the product with digital elements means a software or hardware product and its remote data processing solutions, including software or hardware components being placed on the market separately; and for 10 years after they have supplied the product with digital elements means a software or hardware product and its remote data processing solutions, including software or hardware components being placed on the market separately;.
