Article 37 Requirements relating to notifying authorities

A notifying authority means the national authority responsible for setting up and carrying out the necessary procedures for the assessment, designation and notification of conformity assessment bodies and for their monitoring; shall be established in such a way that no conflict of interest with conformity assessment bodies means a conformity assessment body as defined in Article 2, point (13), of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008; occurs.
