Recital 105 Consistency of and equal treatment in conformity assessment procedures
In the interests of competitiveness, it is crucial that notified bodiesmeans a conformity assessment body designated in accordance with Article 43 and other relevant Union harmonisation legislation; apply the conformity assessmentmeans the process of verifying whether the essential cybersecurity requirements set out in Annex I have been fulfilled; procedures without creating unnecessary burden for economic operatorsmeans the manufacturer, the authorised representative, the importer, the distributor, or other natural or legal person who is subject to obligations in relation to the manufacture of products with digital elements or to the making available of products with digital elements on the market in accordance with this Regulation;.
