Recital 48 National cybersecurity strategies

For the purpose of achieving and maintaining a high level of cybersecuritymeans cybersecurity as defined in Article 2, point (1), of Regulation (EU) 2019/881;, the national cybersecurity strategiesmeans a coherent framework of a Member State providing strategic objectives and priorities in the area of cybersecurity and the governance to achieve them in that Member State; required under this Directive should consist of coherent frameworks providing strategic objectives and priorities in the area of cybersecuritymeans cybersecurity as defined in Article 2, point (1), of Regulation (EU) 2019/881; and the governance to achieve them. Those strategies can be composed of one or more legislative or non-legislative instruments.
